Thermal recovery of heavy oil is the main method for the development of heavy oil, which is widely applicable to shallow heavy oil below 1500 meters. However, deep heavy oil reservoirs have been plagued by high gas injection pressure, difficulty in lifting, and high costs, and have not been able to achieve large-scale development.
Deshi Group has closely integrated with Sinopec Northwest Bureau to conduct targeted research on the A5-1 well of the ultra deep heavy oil well in Block A of Tahe Oilfield, and successfully implemented the world's first 6000 meter deep heavy oil thermal composite throughput construction. This ultra deep heavy oil, ultra-high pressure, and high-temperature steam injection is the first of its kind both domestically and internationally.
